mo-rvl-05404 Models * Revell AG Germany 1/110 H.M.S. Bounty - RVL 05404
One of the most famous vessels in maritime history is the HMS Bounty, a sailing ship that became known for the bold mutiny that took place on board. In 1787 Captain William Bligh was ordered by King George III to bring bread-fruit trees from Tahiti to the West Indies in the Bounty. Captain Bligh ruled with an iron hand and continually reduced the rations of his crew. On 28th April 1789 the famous mutiny occurred. Bligh and 18 of his henchmen were set adrift in a boat but, after a veritable odyssey of a voyage, succeeded in making their way back to England. mo-rvl-07229 Models * Revell AG Germany 1/12 Ferrari 126 1982 - RVL 07229
The 126 promised good prospects for Ferrari in the '82 season, on the one hand due to the 580 hp 6 cylinder engine, on the other due to the exceptional driver Gilles Villeneuve who took over from Niki Lauda at Ferrari at the end of the seventies. The Canadian was extremely popular due to his aggressive driving style and was top candidate for the world championship title. The season was also marked by internal wrangling within the Ferrari team when Didier Pironi, contrary to the agreed strategy, beat his team colleague Gilles Villeneuve into second place at Imola. The season was overshadowed by the serious crash during the final training at Zolder in Belgium in which Gilles Villeneuve was catapulted out of the vehicle. At the end of the year Ferrari did in fact win the constructor's title but the world championship was lost. Kit features: Detailed wheel suspension, Authentic shock absorbers with real metal springs, Detailed brakes with air systems, True to life reproduction of turbocharger and exhaust pipes, Authentic reproduction of engine, Detailed cockpit, Separate fabric safety belts with chrome buckles, Integral moulded seat, Detailed reproduction of air intake systems, Chrome front and rear spoilers, Authentic slicks and rims, Costly cables and lines, Chrome parts in finest detail, and Authentic decals for the Ferrari 126 C2 used by Gilles Villeneuve and Didier Pironi.
